This is a fundraising event for our club - so the more the merrier!  If you've never competed before, this is a perfect opportunity to learn about competition play. Sign up on the day as an individual or with a partner!

Helpers to set up courts at 11:15 AM appreciated

Time: Check In 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM, Games Start at 12:00 PM

Rounds: There will be three rounds, starting 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM, and 2:30 PM. Lunch from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM

Format: Sign up as your own doublette team, or as an individual and we will form teams as best we can* (see comments below)

Cost: $10/player (cash only, exact change appreciated please)

Eligible: Lamorinda club members and associate members only

Parking: No parking in the entry area - drop off only - ask for help to move your car if required

Details

• Games will be played in the regulation courts.

• If you don’t have a teammate, we will have an “Individual's List” and form a team for you.

• There will be three timed games using the Swiss format and following standard FPUSA rules.

• Play is not to begin until the whistle is sounded to begin that round. After 50 minutes the whistle will blow, and you should finish the end then play one final end. The score is then recorded even if one team has not reached 13 points. The whistle will blow at 60 minutes at which point the game must end, even if it is a draw and/or in the middle of an end.

* To ensure an even number of teams and that everyone plays, some teams may need to be triplettes, and the last teams to sign up may need to be split.
