This is a fundraising event for our club - so the more the merrier! If you've never competed before, this is a perfect opportunity to learn about competition play. Sign up by Tuesday 15th July as a team (note: both players need to sign up separately) or an individual.

Schedule:
2:45 PM Helpers to set up tables, courts, etc.
3:00 PM to 3:15 PM Check in
3:30 PM to 4:30 PM Round 1
4:30 PM to 5:30 PM Round 2
5:30 PM to 6:00 PM Appetizer Potluck (Please sign up for an appetizer or a dessert in the form below.)
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Round 3
7:00 PM Dinner (Pasta, Sauce (meat and vegetarian), Salad and Garlic Bread provided)
After dinner Dessert Potluck (Please sign up for an appetizer or a dessert in the form below.)
Format: Sign up as your own doubles team (both players need to fill out form below), or as an individual and we will put you on a team
Cost: $20/player at check-in on the day (cash preferred, checks made out to "Lamorinda Pétanque Club")
Eligible: Lamorinda club members and associate members only
Parking: No parking in the entry area - drop off only - ask for help to move your car if required
Details
Games will be played in the regulation courts.
If you don’t have a teammate, we will have an “Individual's List” and form a team for you.
There will be three timed games using the Swiss format and following standard FPUSA rules.
Play is not to begin until the whistle is sounded to begin that round. After 50 minutes the whistle will blow, and you should finish the end then play one final end. The score is then recorded even if one team has not reached 13 points. The whistle will blow at 60 minutes at which point the game must end, even if it is a draw.
* To ensure an even number of teams and that everyone plays, some teams may need to be triplettes, and the last teams to sign up may need to be split.
