FUN TOURNAMENT AND DINNER
This is a fundraising event for our club - so the more the merrier! We will play a couple of games, have some pot luck appetizers, play a bit more then have chili (meat and vegetarian), corn bread, salad, and pot luck desserts.
Registration is required no later than Friday August 21, 2026. You can sign up as a team of two or as an individual. We will form teams from the individuals.
Helpers to set up courts at 2:45 PM appreciated
3:00 PM to 3:15 PM Check in and payment
3:30 PM to 4:30 PM Round 1
4:30 PM to 5:30 PM Round 2
5:30 PM to 6:00 PM Appetizer Potluck
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Round 3
7:00 PM Dinner & Dessert Potluck
Cost: $20/player (check to Lamorinda Pétanque Club, or cash - exact change appreciated please)
Eligible: Open to all
Parking: No parking in the entry area - drop off only - ask for help to move your car if required
Pot Luck: At registration you can sign up to bring an appetizer or dessert for the pot lucks.

Games will be played in the regulation courts.
There will be three timed games using the Swiss format and following standard FPUSA rules.
Play is not to begin until the whistle is sounded to begin that round. After 50 minutes the whistle will blow, and you should finish the end then play one final end. The score is then recorded even if one team has not reached 13 points. If it is still a draw you cast the cochonnet and you play one boule per team, closest ball wins the deciding point.
